The IRONBULL Winter Triathlon is a sprint style triathlon that begins with cross country skiing (7k skate or classic) to fat tire biking (10k) and finishes with a snowshoe run (5k). Distances/legs may vary due to weather.*
Ski portion is on skate and classic groomed trail, fat tire bike and snowshoe portions are on rough-groomed singletrack trail all through beautiful Nine Mile County Forest. Helmets and 3.8" tires are required on the bike.
*Event modifications will be made for low/no snow conditions so the event will not be cancelled. These could include cancelling the ski portion or replacing it with a shorter run. Also, the snow shoe run may be changed to a trail run. Any changes will be announced by Jan 21, 2020.
There is no winter fat biking allowed at this location any time other than the event.
