Hundreds of riders were escorted by Wausau Police Department squad cars from the heart of downtown Wausau on a crisp fall morning for the 4th annual Red Granite Grinder. The Red Granite Grinder featured 50, 85, and 144 mile race options with a non-competitive 12 mile urban ride.

IRONBULL’s Red Granite Grinder has put Wausau on the map for gravel biking. With the area’s smooth gravel, numerous hills, and scenery, the event has taken notice by riders from all over the country. Riders leave the event raving about Central Wisconsin’s “red gold” and the event is dialing up more festivities this year to attract riders and community.
