Rib Mountain is a beauty to behold any season of the year. Whether you call it home, or if you are just passing through, you can’t help but admire this glacially eroded creation. But why observe from a distance what you can experience through all your senses. Welcome to the Rib Mountain Trail Races!

Course Description

The 2026 course will take you through scenic Rib Mountain State Park trails with the choice of 10.5 miles, 21 miles or 31.5 miles consisting of , 2 or 3 loops of the same course as 2025. Yes “The Hill” is still part of this amazing race course for 2026. Bring your climbing legs and get ready to take on The Steepest Test in the Midwest!

We’re excited to have Bone & Joint as the Exclusive Sports Medicine Provider of the Rib Mountain Trail Races. Their expert sports medicine team will staff the Bone & Joint Sports Medicine Triage & Aid Station, providing first aid care and assistance to athletes. Finish Line Festivities

The well deserved post race party will be held at the finish line! Family, friends, food, music, and most importantly, beer (including Red Eye local craft brews) and drinks, are there to congratulate you, an IRONBULL finisher. All racers & volunteers receive a free meal & drink and spectators may purchase onsite.
