Hundreds come out for 5th annual IronBull trail run

Rain and mud can’t keep ironbull athletes away from ultra trail and autumn colors

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - What was supposed to be a sunny day turned out to be a wet and muddy one, but racers embraced it all in the annual IRONBULL trail run.

The trail run starts and ends and State Park Speedway. Racers are able to enjoy all the peak fall colors in a 15, 25 or 50k race.

Not to be outdone by the grown up runners, the young athletes who took part in the free kids run, presented by Kocourek Kids, tallied over 500 combined laps this year around state park speedway. In only it’s second year, the kids run is quickly becoming a hallmark of the event.
