Kocourek kids Ride

• Free to all kids

• All kids receive a kids meal and drink following the ride

• Recognition will be given to participants, with all participants under 18 earning a finisher medal at the finish line.

• The ride is a family friendly, timed, non-competitive ride in downtown Wausau. The route is marked with arrow signs.

• The 12 mile route is 85% pavement, 15% off-road gravel. See route here.

• Young children may short course (which also avoids the hill) and still receive a finisher medal. Suggested 6.5 mile route is noted at mile 1.2 on the RideWithGPS map. (Continue straight on N 5th Street then take the first left (east) to Winton.)

• Participants under age 13 must be accompanied by a registered adult. Those racing in the longer events may also participate for free with their families.

• Tag-a-longs, tandems, E-bikes (Type 1 only), and bike carts are encouraged in the 12 mile recreational ride.

  
  

  Schedule

• 1:30 - 2:30 pm: Onsite registration and packet pick up for 12 mile riders

• 2:45 pm: Pre-ride meeting for 12 mile riders

• 3:00 pm: 12 mile ride start
