In my first solo paddle outing I discover Wausau in a new way on the water.
The Wisconsin River bike and pedestrian bridge and I have a lot of history. I have been on this trail during every season and today enjoyed my oldest run along side me where I used to push her almost every day on her way to day care.
It’s the time of the year it seems like people come out of the woodwork on beautiful, sunny, days. Today was no exception on the 51/29 and Hwy R loop in Rib Mountain.
Although I’ve been to Rib Mountain State Park countless times, I’m just floored at this gem in our backyard. I had the pleasure of a great snowshoe hike with numerous view points on this hour long hike.
