The IRONBULL Ultra Trail was named by Strambecco among the 2024 Best Trail Running Events in the Midwest.
Criteria for the ratings include reputation, route quality, location, runner feedback, and the overall uniqueness of the event or race. Spanning Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Kansas, Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska, Indiana, and Minnesota, the Midwest includes longstanding trail events on iconic trails such as the Ice Age Trail 50, Superior 100, Tunnel Hill 100, and Kettle Morraine 100.
